Description
Something a little different from the same Santubong beach
And it was more of an accident than an actual attempt at experimentalism, in all honesty I used my Lomo L-CA for this shot, and to those unfamilar with the L-CA, you have to set the film ISO manually... something that is pretty easy to forget to do. I was using ISO 400 film and put in 200 film after that roll was done, and conveniently forgot to reset the camera. Only realized I was shooting at the wrong ISO like halfway through, so instead of risking blurry shots, I thought I'd push-process the film instead. I've never done it before, so I had no idea what the results would be like! And this is it... it looks like the whole role was washed in murky water But I kind of like the effect... it just adds a completely different feel to the whole thing. I don't know if all push-processing has this kind of effect, or whether this is a lomo plus push-processing kinda thing, so if anyone's dabbled in this before, let me know!
Got a few more shots from this role that turned out ok, and I'll be submitting them soon enough. There were a lot of similar/double shots, so, I definitely won't be submitting everything! Tell me what cha think!
Camera: Lomo L-CA
Film: Fuji Superia 200, push processed 1 stop (developed at 400)
Photoshop: Scan, adjustments to match photo quality, dust, border
Randomness: This is the third time I'm submitting this photo! DA seems to have eaten the other two submissions and I have no idea where they are! Anyone received them in their inbox? My apologies if there are any repetitions...
