Look... can you see her thinking of her final night alone?

The second shot of my cousin as a Japanese bride, the night before her actual wedding. You cannot imagine how many layers of clothing she has one, each one thicker and more elaborate than the other. The kimonos have such beautiful embroidery though... it makes me proud to be quarter Japanese... :)

Used my Canon EOS 300 and Kodak black & white film. No idea what the settings were. I also cropped the image in photoshop to give it a more panoramic view. Desaturated it and upped the contrast to give it a better B&W feel.

Yes, the long vertical cropping definitely give a lonesome feeling...Very nice lighting and contrast as well! How did you manage it?

well...i think it would be better not to take a b&w film, because of the colours of her clothers, only if they were coloured :)

once again i got the perfeft black and white. :)

the vertical stuff (size of the picture) makes my day.
