waiting for the parade

I'm a pretty patriotic kid, and on the 31st of august, me, along with some fellow photographers from PhotoMalaysia.com lug ourselves out of bed in the wee hours of the morning, showered, grabbed our gear and made our way to the Boulevard in Putrajaya to witness our Independence Day parade. It was my second time at the parade, the first I got a chance to walk around with my camera. And even though my view was blocked most of the time, i trained my camera elsewhere, and shot what i could see instead.

This was before the parade began... a young boy waiting with the rest of us...
